I went to see THE BALLAD OF WALLIS ISLAND today simply because a friend came out of it glowing. I came out glowing as well. Simple stories made with a lot of skill, humor & heart are rare these days. It’s a movie people will stream 6-months from now & wonder why they didn’t see it in theaters.

Kylie Minogue s first US tour in 15 years arrived in Chicago last night & it delivered big time. Pop production has grown by leaps & bounds but she kept up with the pace & delivered a dazzling & euphoric 2-hour show where I danced my little heart out.
