I’ve started making what I thought was going to be another lap blanket, but it has somehow grown considerably! 😅 Just like me, I’m using all the colours & experimenting with different stitches. Goodness knows what it will end up like, but I’ll need more yarn at this rate… 🧶

From Isolde's grave a rose tree grew, and from Tristan's came a vine that wrapped itself around the tree. Every time the vine was cut, it grew again - a sign that the two lovers could not be parted, even in death. My embroidery Tristan & Isolde (April 2020)🪡🌹🌿 #stitchedart #thesewingsongbird
