If vouchers pass in Texas- which they assuredly will- then I will be encouraging everyone that attends non Christian private schools to apply for ESAs. I want the money going schools that will piss off the evangelicals funding this mission. There are some great accredited Islamic schools in Texas!

Would you say $160K/year should qualify as “low income” in Texas for a family of four? What amount do you think should qualify? On current voucher proposal, “ low income” means 500% above the national poverty line. 500%?!?! Our taxes will pay for wealthy people’s private school tuition. 🤬
