Finished Chain-Gang All-Stars by Adjei-Brenyah, and enjoyed it. Extrapolates nicely from the US prison system into a The Running Man-esque dystopia (but with serious bite rather than wrestling camp). Nice to get some real George Floyd energy, in the wake of gestures at the sad state of the US. 🪐📚💙

My 2024 in reading 💙📚. It was a year of turning more toward literary fiction and classics, where I found much to enjoy. But I struggled to gather the brain power (thanks, LC!) for much non-fiction. I rate hard, as you can tell - a 3/5 is still a solidly good book that delivers on what it aims for.
