something i think happens a lot is people mistake "you may have to work with people you personally dislike for whatever reason to advance left wing causes" with "you must like people and work with them even if their goals and aims are diametrically oppositional to yours if you agree on some stuff"

Last time I asked for access to Met Police files, you locked them away for a further 50 years, for reasons that included "We've got so much stuff on that case, it'd take too much time to show you". Sounds pretty equivalent to "lost" as far as my research is concerned.
