Part of healing my inner child is making sure I have a positive presence in my daughter’s life. Don’t matter what I go through or how tired I be if she wants to hang with me or talk to me I make sure to give her all my attention so she can feel as important as I wished I felt when I was her age.

Being in the 40s club exposes a lot about life. For me its been eye-opening. Having a social life is a burden. Loneliness at first feels like a cruel punishment. But then it becomes a privilege. In isolation you discover what society tries to hide from you at all cost - peace of mind.
