what i’ve learned from having a post stating a controversial (though fairly innocuous) opinion go viral-ish on bluesky: 1) i was led to believe the discourse here was kinder? more thoughtful? nah, people are still awful if they disagree with you 2) people have a LOT of ways to call someone stupid
