Same. I worked from Palermo for two months and am actively planning to go back to Europe. What feels different now, for me, is the dystopia to the south and, despite watching that, 45% of my country-folk voting for our mini Trump. I've lost trust in my nation.

After two months in Italy, I say "This!" I've ridden bikes and scooters often here. The infrastructure is available and when it isn't, all are respectful of each others' rights to be. In Canada there is an us and them mentality and I fear for my life when I hear a Dodge Ram approaching.
