Trump gutted National Park Service staffing, but ordered parks to stay open. Grand Canyon’s car entrance is now unstaffed so there is no one to there to collect the $35 car entrance fee. With 29k visitors expected in April, that’s $34k/day in missing revenue, or $1M per month. So much efficiency.
