Appr. five bullet points: • Taught my class Monday based on "Let Them Theory" • Moved furniture for our Friday sound bath • Managed and updated our online assets • Worked on spring cleanup in hospitality area • Called my senators

I think several Emmy nominations were earned tonight on #Severance. Britt Lower and Tramell Tillman great work. Crazy how many "relationships" this show can create out of two characters and a brilliant premise. Also, Mark got TWO fortune cookies, and didn't open either.

Happy #Severance Just Dropped, for all who celebrate.

Least effective teambuilding retreat ever. #Severance

Severance is the best show on TV right now.

It’s important to be flexible when making plans on Thursday evening. Especially when Apple TV sends you a notification that they just changed your plans for you. #severance

I gave a talk yesterday. I spoke about the power of trained thought, the movie "Back to the Future" and who the main character of that movie really is (and why). youtu.be/vH8MarmNP1U

A choice for the next 12 months: for every 15 mins/day you might spend doom scrolling, instead spend the time reading. That's ~7-12 pages a day, or 2,500+ pages a year, which is 10+ books. You could learn how to change the world, instead of passively accepting what's happening. Your choice.

🧵It’s Monday, and I’m tempted to see the week as just a list of things to get done. Another checklist to power through. But today, I read something in Oliver Burkeman’s Meditations for Mortals that shifted my perspective. 1/4

🧵 "When you stop managing everyone else, you'll realize you have a lot more power than you thought—you've just unknowingly been giving it away." – Mel Robbins, The Let Them Theory 📚 What happens when you let go of control? Let's unpack that 👇 #letthem

"Everyone is screwed up, broken, clingy, and scared, even the people who seem to have it more or less together. They are much more like you than you would believe. So try not to compare your insides to their outsides." ~ Anne Lamott Where do you compare yourself to others? Maybe let go of that.

What if you were the most positive person in your life today? What would that look like? Of all the people you interact with today, in all the relationship moments you have, what if YOU were the one person of whom people said, I really like being around that person. Happy Saturday.

I started the day doing something that felt good. I became a member of #WatchDuty, the app everyone is using to track the Los Angeles wildfires. Only $25 a year to support the great work this volunteer team is doing. Also, now at this paid level, I get the helicopter overlay. So worth it.

Unlike you, I got my news from a reliable source

I am forced to conclude that 2025 will require radical positivity and unceasing action from me. Game on, 2025.

If you happen to be sitting in a public coffee shop, I have a question for you: how do you feel when some sits right next to you and has a speakerphoned FaceTime call? I wrote about this in my latest. www.thorchallgren.com/blog/relatio...

Enter the year you turned 10ish into the gif bar and see what was popular back then…

Instead of chasing perfection with a SMART goal that feels overwhelming, what if we tried something different this year? ⠀⠀⠀⠀ Here’s my plan: \n\n👉 Put the ball in play.\n\n www.thorchallgren.com/blog/quit-ne...

Maybe when it comes to resolutions, we need to be a little easier on ourselves. www.thorchallgren.com/blog/why-res...

Everything I hoped it would be. And more. #superman youtu.be/uhUht6vAsMY?...

"Honey, I'd like you to meet my friend, Del Griffith." This line. Gets me every single time. "Planes, Trains and Automobiles" is like "Field of Dreams" for Thanksgiving. I can't watch it without waterworks. Steve Martin and John Candy are just perfect in this.

Growing up, we’d watch The Wizard of Oz on TV after Thanksgiving dinner. What do the kids do now? They go see #Wicked in the theaters? I guess some things never change.

I am aware there are places that are cold and rainy today. Southern California is not one of them. Sorry.

I know I've done something right in life when my daughter calls me with a turkey roasting question. And to be clear, what I did "right" was having a gourmet-level mother who knew all this stuff.

I'm currently reading "Designing Your Life" by Bill Burnett & Dave Evans. Great book to go through as I think about 2025. The book was "recommended" by ChatGPT when I asked for a list of books on a certain topic. Thanks, AI!

One "benefit" to rising early is that at 9:30am I've already meditated, journaled, read, and gone to Pilates. Now what? Oh yeah. Time for a nap! 😂

Happy Thanksgiving! I'm realizing this is the first Thanksgiving in my life in which neither of my parents are here. (My dad passed this year.) I'm grateful for a mom and dad who were amazing parents.

Good morning! 🌞☀️😀
