First day on the job. It's fun, I get to go out and about and go places. A LOT more physical than anticipated, though. Lots of moving, carrying, stacking, loading, and unloading. Hopefully my body can keep up.

I applied for a job at a local thrift 3 weeks ago. A friend is a manager at a different branch and pulled some strings to get me in. Found out they lost my online app and I had to fill out a new one. Then the interviewer was a no-show. Now I wait for another interview. I just wanna work, man.

I believe that workers who actually implement laws should be on record. Somebody has to type information into terminals, somebody has to hold a grinder to memorials. Somebody pushed a button to destroy lives. "Just following orders" should not absolve them, either.
