My husband is a weaver. After a year on the loom, he took this off today! He says “The design is based on a labyrinth from Pompeii, the colors are inspired by Santa Fe and by Frank Stella, and the corners by Frank Lloyd Wright.” #art #craft #weaving

The interior of my house is getting painted next week so I’m having to move everything in the room where I do my gel prints. I just uncovered the #zentangles I made during the bad pandemic times. Each little square is about 3 in (8 cm) across. I should try it again; it was fun. #art

Yesterday I bought 4 new tubes of paint in colors I didn’t already have. Today I’m just messing around with them. I get the feeling that buying paint and supplies for art is a lot like buying yarn and tools for knitting. I have loads of yarn and knitting tools. Yikes! #art #gelprint

One of the things that can be done with gel plate printing is image transfer from magazine pages. It is tricky. This is my best attempt so far. I added a pink background with texture. #gelplateprinting #art
