It’s surreal how fast the United States has fallen into a dictatorial regime. Checks and balances are gone, the president disappears innocent people into foreign prison camps, words get banned, and the Overton window shifts at light speed. I honestly wonder these days when they will come for me.

Can we stop calling these atrocities "deportations." These people sold to El Salvadorian prisons were not deported. Deportation is a process that did not take place. They were rounded up and removed with no process. They were kidnapped, not deported.

What happened to coffee/tea shops having comfortable seating? I miss the oversized thrift shop sofas and chairs. I despise that everyone looks exactly the same with crappy bistro sets that aren’t quite big enough and are brutal on the back.
