OKC forced Indiana to have more turnovers (9) than field goals made (8).

Just made an instagram. Going to *attempt* to post some stuff there. Follows would be appreciated 🫡

OKC is 78-17 this season. 60 of those wins have been by double digits.

Incredible.

I can’t say enough good things about Cason Wallace. Real convos will be had about here he ranks in Presti’s best draft picks.

My instagram story from October 24, 2019. I was pretty high on Shai because of his size, length, flexibility, handle & liked his potential upside on the defensive end due to his frame… Never did I expect *this* outcome tho. Been so cool to watch his journey.

Just a couple of NBA All-Defensive guys.

Lu Dort, First Team All-Defense.

Oklahoma City is the first team in NBA history to have three different MVP’s in a span of 15 seasons (OKC did it in a span of 12). 13/14 - Kevin Durant 16/17 - Russell Westbrook 24/25 Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

Now that it’s official: Shai is truly one of the coolest player development stories in recent memory. What a story & what a path. We all should feel very fortunate to have had a front row seat to his development all these years. We often underestimate the process & overvalue the result.

Alex Caruso is unscreenable.

Proud of JDub man

I’m a bit in disbelief of how they’ve opened up so far.

Grade 2 hamstring strain sustained TWO DAYS AGO. This is unbelievable & not safe. It’s the org’s job to protect the player from themselves.

I think it’s been a rough series for Mark Daigneault, but man, some of the takes are a bit too far for my taste.

Alex Caruso is truly one of the smartest defenders I’ve watched. Patient, methodical, & rarely ever off on timing. What a play, what a player.

DeAndre Jordan played 2 minutes & 11 seconds last night. He was in for 5 defensive possessions. OKC put him in action for 3 of those 5 possessions & scored every time.

Russ on what it’ll be like playing OKC in the playoffs: “I don’t know — That’s like home for me. I always got love for everybody there — the people, the fans. I know it’s mutual but they also know the reason why they do love me — b/c I compete at a high level, and I’m going to do that every night.”

OKC doing their first ever blackout playoff game for game 1 👀

At the end of the day, what OKC does in the playoffs will be how we judge this team but I remember 4 years ago when they lost 14 games in a row in April. This year, they lost 14 games all season & I think that’s pretty cool.

The Oklahoma City Thunder have finished the season with more double digit wins (54) than 27 other teams have wins in general. To put it in perspective: If you counted every OKC single digit win as a loss, they’d still be the #1 seed in the West. (via ThunderFilmRoom) #NBA

Lu Dort’s fingerprints were all over OKC’s 28-5 run to end the game: - hits the 3. - stops JJJ on the iso which leads to the transition dunk. - comes off the screen to hit the 3. - recovers the deflection & gets the assist. - grabs the offensive rebound & gets the assist. - steal & assist.

More ways OKC is using Chet on the perimeter with off-ball actions to free him up for easy offense. They’re gonna start out w/ Horns out & flow into the stagger, one of their favorite secondary actions but this time they’ll run “twirl” & it gets Chet the easy look at the rim.

OKC reached 60 wins before anyone else in the west reached 50. The closest team has 47 wins.

THE OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER HAVE WON 60 GAMES FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 2013 & ONLY THE 2ND TIME IN FRANCHISE HISTORY.

These Alex Caruso drives in semi-transition before the defense gets set up have been so good the past few months.

Feels like the refs/NBA is over-correcting with the Shai foul calls. Whatever. That’s their prerogative. We’ll see if it actually holds. They always go back to their usual ways with these type of things.

OKC had an Ortg of 133.3 & a Drtg of 89.4 in the 1st half. 43.9 Net Rating.

First two possessions tonight: - Shai sets a flex screen for Chet that gets him an easy bucket at the rim. - Chet comes off the pin-down, receives the hand-off from iHart (Chicago action) & hits the 3. I’ve really enjoyed how they’ve been using Chet off-ball on the perimeter.

The Celtics took 24 shots in the 1st quarter. 22 of their shots were 3s. They made 9 of them. They didn’t make a 2.

Teams have done a good job at knocking OKC out of rhythm when sending 2 to Shai or blitzing the high ball screens. Would really like to see OKC utilize this short action a bit more (pass to someone then pass to the roller). Does a good job at punishing aggressive D’s, (cont.)

The other site worked for like 5 minutes & immediately went back down lol

Have enjoyed the Alex Caruso PnRs this year. He doesn’t roll much but he’s a good enough tissue connective guy to make some passes out of it. Just another different way OKC is attacking these zones.
