I think some people exaggerate Eddie’s relationship with masculinity (in the toxic sense) solely bc he’s a Latino man and is generally perceived as more of a threat. He is way softer than he is given credit for. Eddie’s existence is a refutation of his father’s ways. He is soft with his son.
