What I love about the Episcopal community. Not only is it one of the strongest advocates for social justice and true equity today, but it's also a community grounded in history and truth. No need to steal from Jewish culture here.

Why corporate/establishment Dems of the right wing party, will not "save" us.

Center Black voices; brown, Indigenous, LGBTQIA+ voices.

Black existence is only "political" to the descendants of colonizers, enslavers and capitalists.

Existing, let alone speaking truth, as an artist of color is always, always political, especially to the capitalist and colonizer. Don't stop making art. Don't stop making the oppressors squirm.

Unpopular truth - the existence of the National Sex Offender Registry, & their state-level counterparts, is a legacy of slavery. Black & brown offenders (who do exist) are the only one's in shackles, while white child m0lesters, r@pists walk free among us, with little to no consequence.

Black women leading the way! White liberals, sit down and shut up! It's our turn to speak (yes, I am a woman of color).

In case you weren't clear where I stand. When I say no oppression, I mean no oppression!

This is a pro-Palenstine account. If you hate Palestine and Palestinians more than you hate fascism, you don't belong here. You belong in the side of the oppressor. As an abuse survivor, I will NEVER belong on your side. Just so we're clear.

When you have a biopsy, out of an abundance of caution, and your mind keeps hearing, "Bibiopsy," in Aunt Voila's voice. #breastcancerawareness

Watching The Wild Robot, seeing a submerged Golden Gate Bridge & city, then a horrible snowstorm on Roz's island, wondering, "Is that even possible?" Thanks to @katharinehayhoe.com @michaelmanneu.bsky.social @billmckibben.bsky.social I know the answer is, "Yes!"

This movie makes me cry. Every time. #TheWildRobot

Make no mistake. This is an attack on women who LEAVE their thin-skinned, white, cishet male ABUSERS! They want us SILENT! They Most of all, they want us to be their PROSTITUTES, their BABYMAKERS and their SLAVES! They want women to SUFFER for ever daring to say NO!

Two years ago, I, a brown, Indigenous, neurodivergant woman, told a cishet, white abuser, with a criminal record of abuse, "No!" I've a target on my back, and have had to rely on one level of assistance since to support myself and my two sons, since. Now, I'm being targeted.

In short, I stopped letting others do my thinking for me.

Watching Hunchback of Notre Dame the summer I turned 12. My mom *hated* the portrayal of Frollo, calling it a "liberal media attack on good Christians." I pointed out the Archdeacon (pastor) of Notre Dame was Christian, good guy, her response, "He's Catholic, Tiffany. He's not a true Christian"

I just rewatched The Wild Robot a second time with my youngest. It is the most honest, realist movie about parenting I have seen to date. Every annoying, messy, and yes, great thing eveey parent says or thinks about their kid, Roz expresses beautifully.

Gagged by the previous administration, and complacent colleges. Abuse enablers, entitled white men, should be blocked and ignored!

I am a #BishopMarrineEdgarBudde Bob Massie Christian, #Episcopalian. I believe "loosing the bonds of injustice," especially those placed on the victims of whiteness, patriarchy, heteronormativity, capitalism, empire is the highest calling of my faith, life.

This.

The truth will not remain hidden for long. Even so, something to keep in mind.

This apparently making the rounds in fundie circles. Just a month ago, my younger sister told me she's "praying" "return to God," despite the fact I am Christian (Episcopalian). What she met was a "return" to whiteness, heteronormativity, patriarchy, capitalism and Empire, manipulated by faith.
