Misinformation and conspiracy theories are a threat to democracy. The US Navy is very interested in climate change as sea level rise is going to impact major naval bases in Virginia among other places. Acknowledging and preparing for climate change is a national security issue.

My father fought in WWII against fascism. I am not aligned nor enamored with with dictators and oligarchs like Putin, Xi Jinping, Victor Orban, and Kim Jong Un. Our NATO allies rallied to support us after 9/11 never asked for anything. I do not believe in abandoning our allies in democracy.
