The 4EAT sets the tone and the energy for the Alcyone SVX, and I think it sets the right one. The SVX is for flying on the Autobahn or the Wangan, and rural highways no matter the season or weather. There is no shame that a heavy but quick, comfortable coupe has an automatic. It's fantastic.
