Dad, grandpa, coach, tech guy. The universe is influenced by unimaginably small forces. Humor will be attempted, curses will be used, randomness may ensue.

Someone has gone all in on the "nothing is real, nothing matters" ethos. Death cult is a term thrown around, suicide pact might be more apt. This is starting to look like those anti drug posters, America before meth--America after meth

Why does no one flat out ask him: What is the most powerful country in the world? Just see how he answers it. Follow ups would be nice.

California, New York, Oregon, Michigan, Minnesota, Hawaii, others, if you are listening, clearly: You are not ALL in this together. Some make many demands, pay few bills, others...

You know those inflatable tanks and armored vehicles and their cardboard cutout equivalents that are used as decoys? Yeah, there are ways manipulated images can have the same effect on an unsuspecting public. Look for fakes, but don't overlook real things dismissed as fake (It's an arms race)

@charlieangus104.bsky.social Poilievre's ad ran 2 or 3 times a period during last night's game. I heard more booing and trash talk from him than from the American fans last night.

So the tax filing lobby got a win when the self file program was axed, then quickly face being absolutely irrelevant when income taxes are replaced with tariffs.

After almost 3 periods of hockey, I have heard Pierre Poilievre boo Canada more than the US fans in Boston. Ax the advisors Pierre.

I know there is a bevy of "masters of the universe" types that are all in. Have been untouchable for most of their adult lives, made all kinds of backroom deals that would make us mere mortals dizzy. None of that matters when you give state level powers to a gang of criminals Contracts?Handshakes?

About 50 years ago, I was reading political thrillers, including several by Fletcher Knebel. His 1966 novel, NIGHT OF CAMP DAVID, centers on a U.S. president who has gone insane. Signs of insanity include: desire for (a) an alliance with the USSR, and (b) annexation of Canada.

@richardbranson.bsky.social This would be a fantastic time for the Commonwealth to rally around shared values, pursue renewed alliances. Just thinking out loud ;-)
