It's my understanding that DOGE is not a governmental Department, which need to be created by Congress. It is a lobbying committee set up to lobby the Departments actually created by Congress. It seems that Musk doesn't play well with those that appropriate governmental funds.

I'm having a tough time balancing what I thought were friendships with the knowledge that people I thought were friends that voted for a party who repeatedly and publicly stated they will eradicate Social Security and Medicare. Not to mention the rest their party intends.
