I like Mark Cuban, but unfortunately there is not going to be room for him in the 2026 Democratic "No billionaires!" campaign

Fun energy fact: Arizona has more installed battery capacity than the entire U.S. east of the Mississippi

Here's my latest climate piece: A NIMBY Conversation In which a renewable-energy zealot from San Francisco reaches out to talk to rural community members opposed to a solar energy project. The conversation goes well … at first. medium.com/@timconverse...

New via NYT — The CIA sent the White House an unclassified email listing all employees hired by the spy agency over the last two years to comply with an executive order to shrink the federal work force. One former agency officer called the reporting of names a “counterintelligence disaster.”

“Musk is reaching too far. And we intend on making sure justice is served.” The head of a federal employees union explains why they’re suing the Trump administration over DOGE’s “unprecedented” privacy violations. Interview ⤵️

We're going to be outside Treasury tomorrow at 5 PM to ask Elon Musk what he's doing with our money. SHARE AND JOIN US: www.mobilize.us/moveon/event...

Just RT’d this over at the Bad Place and it was like shaking a jar of red ants. #fun

Elon Musk is a terrible president.

Watching today's Trump Q&A live Someone please ask about the access of Musk and his interns to the payment systems and associated classified info! There was a generalized question about Musk and about USAID, but nothing specific yet about the payments system

In all seriousness, this is what will hurt Musk the most. Hit Tesla.

My fear is we are headed toward some Tiananmen scenario where people mobilize to try stop the Trump administration from carrying this agenda out with peaceful protest and the Trump team orders the military to shoot/repress with violence. That ends maybe like Bangladesh or like Hong Kong.

No one's blaming Democrats for causing this crisis, but yes, many of them are failing to meet this moment. One Democratic senator could bring the chamber to a halt. House Dems can go to fed agencies being gutted by Musk with cameras in tow. Governors can push back. State AGs can bring lawsuits.

My contractors' son-in-law just got arrested by ICE while shopping at WalMart. The word in his circle now is that immigrants shouldn't go to Walmart or Target, as ICE is targeting those stores

When we achieve AGI, and the singularity arrives, will that mean that when a hotel gives me late checkout the room key card will keep working until the new checkout time rather than locking me out starting at the original checkout time?

No one can beat Patrick Mahomes and his team of refs

I'm interested in any coverage and opinions on what Trump's executive order pausing new federal wind permits means for the wind industry. Obviously terrible, but how terrible? Jael Holzman (@jael.bsky.social) has been reporting it on heatmap.news, and her view is stark. heatmap.news/politics/win...

if you’re an american news outlet that ostensibly covers climate change and you’re not reporting on the last 24 hours wall-to-wall, literally why should anybody read you. why should i keep reading you

ICYMI last night trump ordered the government to completely stop all permits to wind projects its a worst case scenario for the wind industry heatmap.news/sparks/wind-...
