An appeals court just struck down a Biden-era rule protecting consumers from being spammed by marketing cold calls, which would have required telemarketers to obtain written consent before blowing calling you. The lower court cited the 2024 Supreme Court decision overturning the Chevron doctrine.

Even though "not being wasteful" is a core tenant of my personal philosophy, I still catch myself wasting food too often (ignoring it in the fridge until its bad). So when deciding my next meal, I try to remind myself that wasting food reduces the supply, making food MORE EXPENSIVE for poor people.
