Reading the new Life magazine - Garfield special edition brought back some crazy memories - I had forgotten for instance how different he looked in the early comics! But also how much I love the drawings from the late 80s into the 90s, and how much excitement they brought to me as a kid.

Meanwhile I'm being challenged in so many ways these days that it's reaching Biblical proportion. I consider myself a fairly decent person, but the worst people ever conceived seem to have no problems at all. There's just no apparent logic to it other than it sucks to be poor...

It amazes me that with technology as advanced as it is these days, that local weather predictions can still be so drastically off. Just yesterday Austin was predicted to only be in the 20s at night but it was already there by this afternoon - and much colder by tonight I'm sure.

Blondshell have released one of the worst songs in recent memory with their song T&A. Literally some of the worst most unimaginative lyrics I've ever heard. Try some alliteration maybe? But somehow it's played constantly on Sirius XMU. #SAD

There are so many good people not on BlueSky yet. Makes me sad - when is enough enough? I hit my final vestige of Elon immediately after the election and I thought I was slow to leave the dreaded X. I do think more people need to sever X completely not just have dual accounts.

@michaelazerrad.bsky.social kinda trippy moment last night - was passively watching the Fire Aid show and reading CAYA Amplified - when suddenly I saw Nirvana on the stage! I did not know they were gonna play. Particularly liked seeing Kim Gordon doing a Bleach tune.

I've never been that impressed with Sufjan Stevens - that is until I heard a track from Illinoise yesterday on Sirius XMU. Listening now and it is certainly an impressive listen. I hear the Guaraldi and maybe even Jim O'Rouke influence for sure at times.
