Honestly...at this point...I don't know if I can stay in the US anymore.

Three things you can do to help take back the House! Special Election April 1

I know that I am supposed to be level-headed but firm when calling my representatives about issues...but I'm that didn't happened today. I just left incredibly scathing f-bomb filled voice messages for my PA "representatives" to get Elon Musk out of shit. I know nothing will come of this.

Have the actions of the Trump administration impacted you directly? I want to hear more. swire (at) usatoday.com or Signal at sarahd.wire Looking for federal workers, grantees, contractors, farmers, etc. Casting a wide net, but particularly looking for people who took the buyout today

If you're protesting tomorrow: "I invoke my rights to silence and counsel and will not answer questions without my attorney present." MEMORIZE THAT, because aside from asking if you're free to leave (or providing ID if you're in a stop and ID state), that's the ONLY thing you ever say to cops.

I am not afraid.

“WE CANT DO ANYTHING! WHAT CAN DEMOCRATS DO!” This. They can do this.

Where I think about and hope my life will be in 5 years...a hopeful post.

If moving your newsletter from Substack seems overwhelming, both Buttondown and Ghost have processes AND people to help with it. buttondown.com/features/con... ghost.org/docs/migrati...

🚨 THE HEARING to confirm or oppose RFK Jr is TOMORROW MORNING RFK Jr wants to: - end vaccines, including polio (yes really) - stop all research into infectious disease (yes really) and more! call today! and yes, even your republican senator — even the GOP is not in love with this asshole!

What is a skill I have worked hard to develop?

A few other books that I am aiming to wrap up by end of the February include. - My Big TOE by Thomas Campbell - A Millienial's Guide to Running For Office by Henry Bouchot Both are very involved reads.

2025 is definitely going to be a ramp of my reading habit that I've put into practice in 2024. My wide-ranging book collection touches on philosophy, art, metaphysics, spirituality, science, sociology, etc. A true liberal arts curriculum. One stand out book: Finite and Infinite Games by James Carse

Stupidity abound today in AI Land.

Something that's been on my mind a lot lately....the amount of trash along the banks of the Yellow Breaches by house. It's apparently a world class fly fishing destination...and the shore and trails are littered with bottles, cans, and trash. I need big ass waders to go clean this shit up.

I spent a significant portion of time over the weekend meditating. My daily practice I akin to a gym workout....making it a daily habit, progress is progress each day, and trying new things is a welcome activity. Anecdottaly, my practice has greatly reduced my anxiety...and eroding my cynicism.

Scrolling through my Reddit Feed is wild right now: Hot: We're banning the shit outta X on our subs! 👍 Not: Jake Barber's UFO Video is BS. 👎 WUT: Inorganic Plasma might be alive and responsible for consciousness. ⁉️

I created a design decision checklist and approval document to help other design leaders in my org navigate when/how to approve work (if/if not needing wider consultation and approval from others leaders.) It's now under being debated about if it's the right process... JFC
