It seems that if your phone does not have an NFC scanner (mine doesn't) it's impossible to have a verified account on LinkedIn. Odd. Anyone know a workaround?

This application form has "expected annual salary" as a required field. I have no idea what to put in it. I was underpaid at my previous job, but would be willing to go for the same again to get employment, but underselling myself may be counterproductive. It's a game I don't know how to play.

I genuinely don't think that Putin has any leverage over Trump. I think Trump is just enough of a pathetic weakling that he'll do anything Putin asks him, because he admires Putin, because he wants to be Putin, because Putin is a dictator and Trump desperately wants to be. (Sad.)

Was going to watch a new Nebula show, Abolish Everything. Saw it was an hour long and decided to leave it till tomorrow, because I need an early night. Then spent over an hour catching up on Matt Baume videos on YouTube instead of actually going to bed. No real regrets. Should Matt be on Nebula?

I was blocked by someone while in the middle of writing a reply to their post. Odd. I then realised that my previous post (since deleted) contained a typo which is a slur. From context, clearly not intended as a slur, but perhaps there are some automated scripts which block people who post slurs?

Probably UK S9 is my most rewatched Taskmaster. I also love most of the British panel show circuit: QI, WILTY, 8OO10CDC. For quiz shows, Only Connect is the champion. And, leaving the UK for a moment, there's Jet Lag: The Game, which takes some cues from Taskmaster but is also very different.
