This painting by Wilbur Niewald is from the time I was his student at the Kansas City Art Institute in the late 1970s. I’m pleased to have in my personal art collection.

I got this MET reproduction of Rodin’s Eve. I’m starting to quickly sketch my miniature 13 inch sculpture. All I can say is I love the interlocking fugal rhythms. The photo looses the binocularity Rodin plays on. You have to draw from the live forms.
