Been busy, had a vacay with the family in Nevada and Arizona. Spent time in Las Vegas and at Grand Canyon National Park and Petrified Forest National Park. It was an awesome trip!

While perhaps a trifling thing in light of all that's going on, few are talking about how DOGE is ruining Kabosu's legacy. R. I. P.

Had a nice week visiting San Jose for a flow cytometer training class. Back to Baltimore in time for more snow tomorrow. San Jose last week was much rainier than the photos imply. Highlight of the trip was hiking around Ed R. Levin County Park (pictured), where I saw this Black-crowned Night Heron!
