I've got this Chris Riddell sketch and three years ago as an experiment I tried 'humanising' it. I took a few artistic liberties with details but on the whole I liked it. The large version of this died along with the hard drives it was on, so this teeny version is all that remains.

I am heartbroken to hear the news that ROBERT E MCGINNIS has past away March 10th at the age of 99. One of the greatest American Illustrators ever is gone and not a single piece on the news anywhere about the man, his influence and his life.
