Imagine if instead of making COVID isolation guidelines as weak as the flu... We approved combo rapid tests like this and made them free and available for everyone... So that people could tell how long they need to isolate based on science and not feelings, whatever the pathogen.

I had to turn down a talk invitation because it was in a US state with pending legislation that made it illegal to "perform" while dressed in a way that wasn't consistent with your sex assigned at birth. Neither of these things were defined and I'm nonbinary. Just let people live their lives.
