I need to post something a bit more positive. Here is my dog. Her name is Pickle.

Where the fuck is Obama?

Slapping some chicken fingers on a piece of bread and calling it a chicken sandwich is a lazy cheat.

#SAGAwards is a shit show production.

Strongly recommends anyone still driving a Tesla not park anywhere near the home of a federal employee.

Same.

I’d be happy if all news outlets stopped covering him.

Finally watched the We Are the World doc. My takeaways: Lauper and Perry were the most talented. Prince, awkward and arrogant. Diana Ross isn’t the bitch I always assumed she was. Dionne and Willy were an inspired duet. Huey was a total pro. The lyrics were super lame.

White Lotus prediction. The shooter is a monkey.

S3E1 of White Lotus is a master class in scene setting. In one hour, each character felt distinct, complicated, damaged. Great writing.

Would have been an actual game if the Bills had been in it.

Free WiFi on Delta is a treat.

One reason I haven’t turned on MSNBC in 3 months is my exhaustion with hosts constantly hawking their books. I guess our misery is good for their bottom lines, and I’m tired of it. @chrislhayes.bsky.social

“We Live in Time” was the most beautiful movie. Florence Pugh is criminally uncelebrated for her performance. And Andrew Garfield is the sexiest human of all time. How was this movie so overlooked? Watch it. So good.

Good this week: all the young Louisianans who routinely use “sir” and “ma’am.” That little show of respect is so nice and feels so valuable in today’s U.S. Bad this week: getting on planes.

Shared one of these with a group of students in Louisiana. I had questions. “Do they put the baby in before or after baking? What happens if you get the baby? Do babies come in different colors?” Shrugs all around. Their lack of cake baby knowledge was lacKING.

Spending the day with student leaders at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. I’ve been here so many times, and it’s always a wonderful experience.

I have a water bowl outside my office door. They think it's for dogs, but the squirrels and I know the truth.

First dramatic, insightful, impactful post.
