🌐 Kotlin for web: What's new and what's next 🚀 Significant progress has been made in enhancing Kotlin Multiplatform support for web development. 🛠️ A lot has been going on behind the scenes – and now it’s time to share the latest updates 👉 jb.gg/ho9gtk

Targeting the Desktop in your Compose Multiplatform app means that you actually are targeting 3 operating systems each of which may run on 2 processor architectures. If you tend to react like 🤯 then here's something for you: dev.to/tkuenneth/te...

My article on Android + Passkeys just got published! A full in depth tutorial that builds a working back-end and front-end using Jetpack Credential Manager. proandroiddev.com/implementing... #androiddev #android

Are you up for some no-so-light article about platforms and processor architectures? Glad you asked 😂 dev.to/tkuenneth/te...

So you end a social media conversation with “Live long and prosper. Over and out”. I’d read this like “Let’s stop now”. But then again, that’s only me. Probably too old school 🤣

Pretty sure many Android devs are still around on this platform. Reply saying hi 👋 so everyone can find you. This will help people find a big bunch of colleagues to follow 👏👏 RT this for more reach! 🙏

Not unusual on Windows, but a welcome reminder that we have been in complexity hell even before we decided to embrace AI in software development. Such things don't happen because someone deliberately did a bad job. They happen because things became too complex to thoroughly test. Stop piling layers.

Yesterday & today there's a big flea market at the entrance to Nuremberg Old Town. Got myself a few gems. Currently listening to Eloy (Inside). Still so happy I rediscovered vinyl. Way more intense way of listening. To my #ProgRock friends: if you haven't discovered Eloy yet, get to know them 🔥🔥🔥

It is absolutely admirable how long that support existed. Compare this to what Microsoft is doing with Windows 11 on older hardware.

Hey guys, I'm two weeks out from finishing the first draft of the Kotlin Coroutines Master Code Lab for Droidcon. Wish me luck! I need the support 🥲

Travelling Europe by train is a very environmentally friendly means of transportation, and a pretty pleasant one, too. Today again crossing the Alps, on our way back from Italy to Germany.

Compose UI 1.9.0-alpha01 introduces custom bullets for annotated strings. The methods withBulletList and withBulletListItem let you set custom shapes and brushes, so the sky is the limit! What do you think about my cute todo-list bullets? More info → android-review.googlesource.com#/q/I1d066d3d...

Hey Google, feels like hard work to get that label button combo wrong. And no, I don't rant for the sake of ranting. I just want you to be as premium as you ask us third party devs to be. Seriously, this does not look premium.

I find it funny that so many people make fun of people making fun of AI. Now, digest this 🤣 Seriously, LLMs are useful for many things, but what our world does not need right now is trillions of generated images.

Apologies for linking to an article wrotten in German, but the TL;DR is just awesome: Germany is second in working from home within the European Union. www.tagesschau.de/wirtschaft/a...

I get that our industry needs to cotinuously provide new stuff to maintain that “top notch” perception. What I don’t get why it has to be meaningless. I would happily trade the latest AI crap for the ability to set mail rules on my iPad Mini. Instead I am advised to go to iCloud Web.

For the first time I'm officially a part of Google IO. Listen to us talk about text input in Compose and how it's changing. I promise you will learn something new :) io.google/2025/explore...
