BlueSky is a platform full of people who think that it's part of the cultural zeitgeist, when it's actually completely detached from any public perception. If you're a creator looking to genuinely grow and make a living from it, posting on BlueSky has about as much value as posting on LiveJournal.

I saw these photos on my feed today, and assumed they were from LA riots. They were not. They're from Ballymena, Ireland. It's not most, but there's a rot infesting Ireland, instigated by people like Trump, Musk, Putin and Conor McGregor. If it isn't stopped now, it'll be too late for Ireland.

I say this with no hyperbole, Peter David was maybe the greatest writer comics books have ever known. Peter David's writing had a soul and sincerity to it that could only come from someone with a rich understanding of human emotions. He said enough. Rest in peace, Peter. (1956 - 2025)

Peter David's wife is reporting that he passed away last night. A versatile writer of comics and prose who adapted well to many characters, he had been having severe health issues for a while. I am glad that he was around, and wish the best to those who knew him.
