This piece is even worse than I thought and I really wish someone smart in the disability justice world would write the takedown it deserves. It's so frustrating to see media people sharing this type of crap that just confirms a certain type of person's worldview and preconceived notions

Many of Trump EO’s either don’t do much, are so poorly written they don’t even do what he seemed to want them to do, or are so outrageously unconstitutional they are going to face immediate court challenges. Definitely a “flood the zone with shit” moment though.

I found this to be uplifting. Meacham puts a bit of long perspective to the period we are about to enter. None of it’s going to be fun. But it’s not necessarily new. I for one am optimistic that we will get through this and can begin the cleanup as soon as 2026.
