It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office. Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc. Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

Every artist I know is really struggling right now. Financially, emotionally, their confidence, in general. If you like an artist's work, support them any way you can. Buying their stuff or subscribing to their Patreon is great, but words of encouragement are also incredibly helpful.

Among other reasons, Trump got elected because he offered simple solutions to complex problems. Saying "I'm gonna cut wasteful spending," is easy/vague. How one should go about it, what they cut, and why they cut it is complicated and requires a thought out plan. Which they definitely do not have.

I loved the Halo games growing up. Played all the games, even read some of the books. Loved the spin-offs and the animated shorts. Hoped for a movie. Then we got the Amazon show. And everything I heard about it killed my interest in it. And I couldn't finish it.

Someone with "zero education" using gen ai cannot out preform someone with an advanced degree who doesn't use gen ai. But companies want to believe it will. Because they want to replace the largest cost to their business with human cogs they can replace easily and pay less.

Thinking about a story where the narrator and the character on screen are ever so out of sync. Maybe the narrator is reading letters they're sending the character. Maybe it's disembodied news sound bites while the character lives their life. I picture the character so far away, like a miniature.
