Whoo! The Local is out now. A mashup of Jet Set Radio and Quake/CS bunnyhop/surf maps. It's also (mostly) free. There's a supporters version with one extra checkpoint race mode and some customization, but everything else (including multiplayer) is free. It is very cool and you should play it.

Was just scouring the release calendars for interesting stuff out this month, and The Local caught my eye. Hyper-mobile speed FPS inspired by Quake/HL/CS bunnyhopping/surfing maps, plus a bit of Jet Set Radio. I know some people who this'll be like catnip for. Not too many games for movement sickos
