Also I need to spruce up the website so it looks nice and presentable. No biggie. 😅

ahastack.dev is a good staring point and collection of resources. Then it's mostly a matter of learning the different pieces as you need them - starting with Astro in SSR mode, sending basic pages, then adding HTMX when you are ready to start sending partial pages.

This reminds me of putting all my PC games in my CD player to see which ones would play the game soundtrack. Some of them worked!

Subdomains set up, database is migrating, environment variables plugged in. Looks like it's all actually working! Thanks @supabasecom.bsky.social @netlify.com @astro.build !

Well, following the environments setup guide on the Supabase website I think I managed to get database migrations and ci pipelines set up for both production and development. Not too hard, next is deploying the correct code to the correct Netlify server. And setting up subdomains! #webdev

Yeah, I thought that was still the case! I’m not going to give too much away yet, but I’m actually working on something that i hope can replace the Facebook groups eventually. I’ll post about it here on bluesky as it becomes more ready for public scrutiny. 🙂

Sounds like an amazing experience. How did you hear about this event? This is the first I’ve heard about it, and the registration is obviously already closed.
