Assuming no other constitutional changes, if the UK ditched the monarchy, what would it be called? Republic of Britain? The United Republic? Or would it keep ‘Kingdom’ as a silly throwback like it does other obsolete things like red telephone boxes, Sunday trading laws, and, well, the Royal Family?
