Just checked the flight tracker I use and filtered for military flights. A lot of refuelers (KC-135 and KC-46a) heading east.

This video shows how Apple has gone all-in on immersive video and audio. Apple has clearly invested a lot in this and opened up more options at a range of price points for creators. www.youtube.com/watch?v=hE4e...

For Old Man's War?

Nice. RealityKit will be available for tvOS 26. You will be able to develop all your 3D entertainment across all Apple platforms in RealityKit.

Wow! Check out all the video sessions that are supposed to be available later today. (Usually Apple spaces these out over the week.) developer.apple.com/videos/wwdc2...

First thoughts on WWDC Keynote: As a user and developer, I pretty much got everything I wanted, plus a few surprises. Of course, my favorite parts of WWDC are the Platforms State of the Union and individual sessions - so much to look forward to.

I've been thinking about Apple Maps and Apple's apology letter about it recently. "Scott Forstall ... may have met his demise when he refused to put his name on the apology letter Apple released several weeks ago" and signed by Tim Cook. www.theverge.com/2012/10/29/3...

I have to report for the start of Jury Duty tomorrow. I wonder if lawyers research the social media accounts of the jury pool? IMHO, they should. I kind of feel like posting a lot of flaming opinions to make sure I get booted by lawyers on at least one side of the case. 😜 Hello lawyers! 👋

John Siracusa's recommendations for Apple to win back developers: Change App Review from a Kafkaesque nightmare to a sane, functioning, supportive process. Create a public bug tracking system. Remove all restrictions on 3rd-party payment methods and app stores. hypercritical.co/2025/05/20/a...

With Apple talking about its Sound Therapy, I thought I'd mention my favorite focus tool: combining coffee house background noise from the coffitivity web site and coffee house playlists from Apple Music. Adjust relative volumes for each source, settle in, and start working.

1/3 Photo of giant UFO shown off by Luis Elizondo at a congressional briefing is just two circular crops, one light colored that is supposed to be the ship (1), and one dark that is supposed to be its shadow (2).

Following Apple's epic loss in court, Apple's updated App Store guidelines came refreshingly fast.

Apple Vision Pro portal experiment partially inspired by Severance's endless hallways. Character comes out of the portal and into the room.

New Apple Vision Pro video drops on Friday (which, if tradition holds, means tonight Pacific Time). This one is inside a fast car. I suspect it will test my queasiness factor. www.youtube.com/watch?v=wNQ9...

The global supply chain is similar to complex software or computer systems. You change something one place, and something somewhere else, seemingly unrelated, breaks.
