Thank you @redsox and congrats to their creative crew for crushing this City Connect collection-flawless, 10/10. The magical details and aesthetics of Fenway Park, delivered with style and ease.

Knicks Celtics, Game 3 NBA Eastern Conference Semifinals, 05.04.1984. In college at the time, I lived a block from Madison Square Garden, bought this ticket for $5 a few minutes after tipoff. Larry Bird with 24 pts for Boston, Bernard King with 23 for New York

On brand, on target. These are great, they seamlessly connect the uniform to the ballpark, an unmistakable connection. 10/10.

Just reading up on the calamitous Pope Francis kerning scandal.

“Last year in New York, I walked over 100 miles and took thousands of photos of one and one font only. The font’s name is Gorton.”

It seems impossible that any team would lose while having a player with a four-homer game, as the Diamondbacks did yesterday... But according to Sarah Langs, the record of teams in the 19 instances of four-homer games by an individual player is 16-3.

The Grizzlies wore four totally different uniforms in four games - which to me is the problem with the Nike era. Change is fine but when you're flooding the market with more and more uniforms that have no consistent theme or color, you make it so that teams have no identity whatsoever anymore.

Could not resist getting this card - Might be the best Tiger Stadium card I’ve ever seen? Also includes my favorite @toddradom.bsky.social logo of all time on the back. From the team-issued 1999 Pop Secret set.
