So the Sauna in our hotel is traditional. When asked about attire, nothing is required. 👍🏼 That is one less thing I need to acquire on this trip.

Had to draw my main man in #MarvelRivals ! ✏️ #Art #DigitalArt #FanArt #RocketRaccoon #GuardiansOfTheGalaxy #Marvel #MarvelFanArt

We’d only been on board the ferry for an hour when Van and I drained our welcome aboard bottle of Cava in the cabin. There’s more Cava in the minibar, along with two cans of Finnish beer. And we’re off to dinner at 17:00 CET and have premium breakfast tomorrow. This will be a fun journey. 😍

TIL that Sweden has a Rhode Island dressing, but there's no such dressing to be had in the US, where Rhode Island is actually located. XD survivinglifeinsweden.blogspot.com/2012/09/rhod...

Last morning in Sweden 🇸🇪 . We’ve been here since last Tuesday, over a week ago, but this afternoon we set sail for a new adventure awaiting us in Finland 🇫🇮! (…with a brief stop in the Åland Islands 🇦🇽 overnight, so we will miss being able to see the red roads.)

Hi @bsky.app @support.bsky.team love your work and all but can you come out in support of the mental health of your many users and introduce the ability to turn off retweets for people you follow? People reading this, RT if you also want to see this feature introduced ASAP.

In the audience for #Furovision 2025 at #nordicfuzzcon, starting at 20:30 CET! (14:30 / 2:30 PM EST) nordicfuzzcon.org/on-site/live...

"Do you even lift, bro?" Of course I fucking lift. I lift up my cat multiple times every day to kiss his perfect little head and tell him how special he is. Get the fuck outta here.

Upgraded our hotel room in Stockholm from a Deluxe King to a Junior Suite! (It’s still three days away. 😅)

Of all the things I expected to be impressed by in a hotel, heated bathroom floors wasn’t one of them. Now I wish I could afford them at home.

Had dinner tonight a little Vietnamese place in Malmö that rates very well on TripAdvisor. It wasn't busy, and the food was excellent. I've never had fried lotus root before, but I would do it again.

The trip over from Oslo ended up tiring me more than expected. It might have been the four glasses of wine I had with our dinner. On second thought, that's very likely why I didn't sleep well.

One aspect (of many) that I like about Nordic culture is the focus on reducing food waste. Take only what you know you will eat, go for more only if you will eat it. And what little is wasted may get composted.

I just heard “Sweet Caroline”, sung in the Red Sox way with callbacks, on a Danish cruise. What the ever loving fuck. 😂

I'm extremely impressed at how our Danish waiter knows (at least) both the Danish and English descriptions and details of each dish and wine.

Vi er ombord fergen! Destinasjon: København, så Malmö. Avgangen om 15 min. —- We’re onboard the ferry! Destination: Copenhagen then Malmö. Departure in 15 minutes!

Our Taxi to the ferry is coming soon. Would like to spend more time here but time to move on to the next place!

Hallo fra Danmark! The body still thinks it’s just before 2 AM and is confused why the airport is bustling and I am putting caffeinated beverages in my mouth.

Musk's censorship algorithm on Twitter reduced our audience by about 95% since he bought it. So we moved over to blue sky. Help us build another great following right here where the skies are clear and the water is fine ;-) Please do Follow Retweet & repeat

Now that it's almost here, weird to think in 24 hours we'll have been over the Atlantic for almost 4 of them.

If you uninstalled MS' Copilot bullshit, the latest update reinstalled it. So, go get rid of that shit.

There is a trending tag over on Mastodon for "#ThickTrunkTuesday". ...I have a feeling this will go horribly wrong.

With the exception of the final night in Finland before returning home, the itinerary for the great birthday trip to the Nordics (and NFC) is set! Three countries, five cities Two overnight ferries Two cross-country trains across three weeks. Starting soon! :D
