I read shadows of the apt cus I wanted a long series so I didn't have to think about what to read next for a while, but it really wasn't great. Liked final architecture though.

This is a Stanford freshman we're talking about here. Wild to see a private university that has historically erred on the side of protecting if not sheltering its students openly calling for this 19-year-old student journalist to face criminal charges for doing what he thought was his job.

my personal politics are certainly leftier than most liberals but I am above all a pragmatist who thinks the reactionaries are by far the biggest threat to all of us and I really wish everyone left of center would spend more time focusing on that and less time on throwing each other under the bus

Just to chime in, it's VERY important to do the full course for antivirals and antibiotics. If you don't, it essentially allows the virus/bacteria a chance to get exposed to the drug without getting wiped out and helps it to evolve resistance to the drug.

this is the most recent indirect evidence I could find, but i think its generally been out there that the PVE swap was jeff kaplan's baby. He says elsewhere in the thread that it was blizzards call to go ow2, not activision.
Either way, the whole story will be in Jason's book later in the year
