Could someone care to explain to me, like I'm in first grade, the government collects taxes for services (such as the VA, Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, and so on) why continue to pay federal taxes if the government is getting rid of all of these programs?

So now tRump is doing away with FEMA AND states can pay for any disaster. Okay then we should not have to pay Federal Taxes since FEMA would be gone along with other Departments.
