I think tonight’s going to be really tough. Villa have everything that has been our kryptonite. Pace & intensity (esp. in midfield). However, I can’t shake the feeling that we win. I’d go with; Ortega; Akanji, Dias, Gvardiol, O’Reilly; Gundo, Nico, Kova; Foden, Marmoush, Doku.

Bernardo also been told he’s not part of our plans going forward. Brutal, sad, end of an era but it’s absolutely necessary for future success. These guys have given an enormous amount to City but can no longer do it. A refresh is needed and we’ve called for it all season.

Massive result that. Really solid defensive performance, Pep has found a good balance since HT at Bournemouth! Predicted a 2-0 on the pod yesterday so nice to get one right for once. Really important win given everyone else’s fixtures this weekend. Happy Easter everyone.

10/11 from what predicted is pretty good in the Pep era 😂. Looks like it’s definitely the same set-up as last week but with Bernardo alongside Nico which is fine. Nunes is needed in the back four to deal with Everton’s crossing / physicality. Going with a 2-0 win.

Fair play to Guardiola and the boys there. They could’ve let their heads drop and it could’ve ended up an ugly scoreline. Brilliant performance after we scored especially from Kev, the Nico’s, Marmoush and Gundo. A performance full of character and a much needed win.
