In the wealthiest nation on earth, 25% of seniors should not be living on $15,000 a year or less. We should EXPAND Social Security, not cut it. I will soon be introducing legislation to significantly raise Social Security benefits and extend the solvency of the program.

Thank you to @maddow.msnbc.com for promoting @bsky.app on air and complimenting it. Her on air support is truly important

Shipping companies profit from uninspected, untaxed foreign packages. They shouldn’t write the rules.   The Trump Administration needs to stop catering to corporations & close this loophole to protect American jobs and keep fentanyl out.   bit.ly/3QnSFdf

I saw firsthand the incredible work Head Start does, providing child care for families who need it most. Out-of-touch billionaires like Trump and Musk want to slash funding for programs like this for a $4.5 billion tax cut for their ultra-rich buddies.

Congress is hearing you. Please take action below and tell them about the importance of Medicaid. actionnetwork.org/letters/medi...

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has returned $21 billion to people who were cheated by big banks and credit card companies. So why are Trump and Musk gutting an agency that's returning money to people who were scammed? For them, this has never been about cutting costs.

Donald Trump and his billionaire backers are carving up the government to sell our country for parts, make the ultra-rich even richer, and dodge accountability. He’s funding tax breaks for the wealthy by taking money from working families. We need union power now more than ever.

If Elon Musk truly cares about being "maximally transparent," he should release the forms showing his financial interests. Americans deserve to know how Elon Musk will profit from his role in the Trump Administration. www.bloomberg.com/news/article...

Donald Trump and Elon Musk’s idea of efficiency is stopping research on curing cancer.

Revenge of Wall Street: CFPB made Wall Street give back $21 billion to cheated consumers. Vought is a creature of right-wing dark money. Guess who he serves.

Tell Congress: Don't let Elon Musk cut our Medicare, Medicaid, or Social Security! Take action here: bit.ly/3EPDwi8 #ResistTrump

Today I’m in a Budget Committee markup, where Republicans are trying to give $4.5 TRILLION in tax giveaways to the richest handful of Americans. This budget is a betrayal of poor and middle class families — and Democrats are calling it out and fighting back.

Jessica Tarlov nails it 👇 Tell Congress to pass the "Stop the Steal" bill to prevent Elon Musk from meddling with our payment systems and data here: bit.ly/4gnneKE #ResistTrump

Musk has made clear that his poisoned tusks are goring into two kinds of federal programs—Federal law enforcement agencies that are investigating him and his various businesses and peoples’ social safety net programs, as with the suspension of payments to millions of recipients.

Head of DOGE Elon Musk has received a new $38,858,978 government contract for his company SpaceX. Musk is self-determining his own conflicts of interest.

Major cuts to programs that millions rely on, all to finance another round of tax cuts that will disproportionately benefit the wealthy and big corporations. Another reminder that we have socialism for the rich, harsh capitalism for the rest.

Elon Musk receives $8 million a day from the federal government.

At the same time Elon Musk was reportedly slashing funding for the Department of Education, his company SpaceX was finalizing a deal with NASA worth an additional $7.5 million on top of the billions Musk’s company is already getting from the space agency.

Pretty damn good framing for Dems

One place our government could save a lot of money is the billions given to Elon Musk's companies every year. abcnews.go.com/US/musk-work...

Casar: "You know what Elon Musk doesn't seem to be looking into? His own contracts."
