Allow me to be cautiously optimistic that there might be a warmer GitHub environment somewhere over the other side of raising the social cost to disruptive users.

So… I’m well aware that encode needs to catch up on the communication front and I’m working on that. In the interim we could really do with a little more funding to help through a bit of a transitional period. A seasons conference budget would be dearly appreciated / impactful right now.

We've been continuing pushing on towards a 1.0 release of `httpx`. Our latest release (0.28) introduces a couple of deprecations, enabling a more constrained SSL API. www.python-httpx.org/advanced/ssl/ Also see our CHANGELOG.md, in the usual place. 🦋
