You know what I really want to be posting about? How Doctor Who is a great TV show that is inclusive and fun and everyone should watch it (new season just started, good jumping on point, new episode tomorrow), or how it’s weird that the US doesn’t really sell Easter Eggs like they do in the UK…

Nancy really only wants to teach them KKK which is precisely why we have to keep fighting her with every breath in our bodies.

So just lying to the public now. I mean I shouldn’t be surprised, but there you go.

Section 28 didn’t come out of nowhere. It came from a society where 75% thought homosexuality was wrong. From a society that feared the sight of a man in drag would corrupt. From a society that believed ignorance was better for children than any knowledge of gay lives. 🧵 1/16

Correct. And us lesbians also do not support her supposed activism on our behalf. We're not "terrified that all the butches will become trans" (yes really that's a line). We've always had interesting ways of interacting with gender and it would've done Joanne some good to talk to us about how. 💅
