Nipper Annual 1941

Nipper Annual 1941. When the Daily Mail was anti-Nazi, Britain, Canada, Australia and NZ ( plus other Europeans) were fighting Nazis and Russia was getting invaded. Time for a laugh eh?

Crawling past Stonehenge, my camera took the time to paint rhe scene in the half light

And if crinoids aren't your thing, some starfish. All from Lyme Regis museum.

More crinoids. Beautiful animals.

Boxing Day fun. My Xmas 7/8 " oak dowels for bracing and acoustic wadding fitted to my Fender Rumble bass amps for tighter bottom end and increased signal below 50hz. Still light as a feather

Christmas Eve. Wayland said happy Smithmas.

Silurian Crinoids from 400 miliion years ago. Life is so wonderful!

When gorse is in flower, kissing's in season!

I was taking pictures of the rookery, but the exterior of our lovely semi-circular hotel room was more interesting!

An improvised bit of nonsense on the Arturia Minibrute with tape echo supported by a Hammond through a Univibe. This is now my ringtone.

Dataset of the Day: zenodo.org/records/7729... Global mangrove soil organic carbon stocks dataset at 30 m. Maxwell& (2023) (doi.org/10.1016/j.di...) Note that Zhang& (doi.org/10.1038/s414...) show that only 49-62% of this carbon can be attributed to mangroves Pic www.grida.no/resources/8994

So suddenly I'm 12 years old again!

The Hoar Stone at Enstone. A 5000 year old portal dolmen by the side if the road. Doesn't work any more, so we had to go home by van.

New beginnings. A Parasol mushroom by the bus stop on the A420 in the rain at 7am. I wish I was a little smaller and I would be dry.
