I appreciate everyone’s messages of support, I’m trying to get through all my mentions but as you can imagine, it’s been a bit of a busy day :) Remember - peaceful civil disobedience, and no kings, no tyrants. Not ever.

We had @mrdannyw.bsky.social showing us a terrible footway-blocking advert sign. Here's how I dealt with a well-known telecoms company on such a site. There was a phone box which said company wanted to remove because it was old, but they also made money from the advertising space.

Travelling all around England this month. Can’t help but notice a huge increase in these in lots of cities. In this case, taking up 2/3 of the footway on a very busy pedestrian route between Manchester Piccadilly and Oxford Road. Is this a good thing for enabling walking?

My new book is finally out! It's packed with tons of stories and anecdotes about the greatest video games, the most momentous events, and general behind-the-scenes craziness spanning the last 50-or-so years of gaming history. Don't miss it! Buy it here: www.bitmapbooks.com/collections/...

www.bbc.co.uk/news/article... Meanwhile the A57 remains one of the most hostile roads with an appalling KSI record in Manchester whilst this prat hopes safety campaigners go under trucks. Start flooding your Labour MPs with how they better get their act together. I will be doing.

And there you have it. Labour hate pedestrians, they hate cyclists, they hate the visually impaired and the disabled. If you drive everywhere, Labour are the party for you. www.chroniclelive.co.uk/news/uk-news...

Proof that left or right of the political spectrum, some people are absolutely addicted to their cars and cannot accept that anyone would want to travel differently. No wonder Manchester Council is so reluctant to add cycle infra to their hugely wide main roads.

Andrew Gywnne, MP for Gorton and Denton, has been caught saying he wanted a resident who requested cycle lanes in Manchester - as city rife with dangerous driving - to be "mown down" by a driver. What's the chance he'll be quietly welcomed back into the PLP like Rupa Huq? High.

Watch out when using the segregated bike lane on the westbound side of London Road opposite Meadowbank. Something large and heavy has shunted it, with the blocks now forming a zigzag and protruding into the bike lane. #EdTravCyc sent to FixMyStreet for @edinburghcouncil.bsky.social

Some truly exceptional parking.

@showmeasign.online Hale today.

Loving riding in this weather but the frozen tyre tracks from cars really do make life a lot more difficult.

Not a single Reform MP has bothered to turn up to today's House of Commons debate on tackling violence against women and girls

These extraordinary photos of the LA fires have been shared widely on social media, often without crediting the photographer. These are all the work of Ethan Swope, an LA-based photojournalist working for AP. You can follow his remarkable reporting here👇 www.instagram.com/ethanswopeph...
