This woman says she has spent £30k on legal fees over this… Here’s an idea - just wait until her contract is up and repaint it?!

Oooofff, Private Eye getting cheeky about West Ham owner David Sullivan, who as @danevanswrites.bsky.social and I have long revealed has also been bankrolling a failing care home for vulnerable teenage girls.

It’s very odd that the hatred among Sun hacks is towards Kier Starmer for prosecuting evidence he was handed by News UK, rather than towards the company and its CEO for handing over the evidence, in a controlled way that kept its senior execs legally safe. Stockholm Syndrome.

@nerysevans.bsky.social Hey Nerys, think you used to follow me on X, could you give me a follow here please so I can DM you?

Pressure should be applied to all organisations. Even if they cannot discontinue Twitter use, extend their social media coverage to other platforms outside of the control of Gilead's oligarchs. By not doing so they are complicit in making it more difficult for people to stop using hateful services.

This morning I asked for a comment from the Met Police about a story. They've just responded with this: the force's X posts on the issue. Unacceptable for a public body to be relying on that hate platform when so many are moving off it.

This is all deranged.

Friday's DAILY STAR: Lettuce who crashed the economy tells bloke who is crashing the economy: Don't say I crashed the economy #TomorrowsPapersToday

Friday's DAILY MIRROR: Musk hate probe #TomorrowsPapersToday

I didn’t love Phil Billing but he was a decent player for us on his day and is a gifted footballer. It’s mad he’s only five Denmark caps. Great move for him, he should get more while at Napoli and might win Serie A when he had only played around 10% of available mins at #afcb.

Elon Musk hates sexual offending so much he paid one woman €250,000 after she accused him of exposing his erect penis to her, rubbing her leg without consent, and offering to buy her a horse in exchange for an erotic massage. www.businessinsider.com/spacex-paid-...

Tommy Robinson’s supporters are desperate for him not to be held in isolation. I think we should let them have their wish. See how he gets on mixing on the general wing… One rather suspects he would be less keen than his supporters are.

The eye-test and the match stats tell you Wolves bossed the game, yet lost 3-0. Cutting-edge counter attacking football from Nottingham Forest. I like what Vitor Pereira is building at Molineux. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/footba...

The worst thing about a Trump-Musk nexus is that they are going to spend the next four years/months/minutes until Trump gets bored of him desperately trying to out-fuckwit each other. "I'll see your deposing the Prime Minister of England and raise you invading Greenlandland."

#WestHamUnited owner David Sullivan was due to appear on a new Sky Sports podcast which features interviews with football executives, presented by his son, Jack, but he was mysteriously pulled by its producers at the last minute. Wonder why….

maybe I’m missing something but seems curious that Nigel Farage hasn’t turned up for the House of Commons debate on grooming gangs

Ed Davey, Liberal Democrat leader: “People have had enough of Elon Musk interfering with our country’s democracy when he clearly knows nothing about Britain. It’s time to summon the US ambassador to ask why an incoming US official is suggesting the UK government should be overthrown....."

Lovely moment for Luke Littler. Love seeing joy and emotion like that. And MVG a very graceful loser. Knows he’s witnessed greatness. #lovethedarts

I have loved the darts since I was a young teenager and it’s great it’s so popular among women now. But I’ve said for years they should get rid of the go-go women - they add nothing but still give the game an air of sexism.

The BBC needs to have a debate about whether Musk's outbursts should keep leading the news. This isn't about censoring or suppressing his views; it's about whether to amplify them. Most Brits aren't on X, they don't follow Musk & not every raving from a foreign plutocrat should set the news agenda

At some point someone in the British government has to hit back at Musk. If he was just some rich guy, fine - whatever. Enjoy your drugs. But he is a leading figure in the incoming US administration. Is our policy now that foreign governments can speak this way about us without any consequence?

It’s wild seeing the right being hysterical at Labour for not doing things in six months that the Conservatives failed to do for 14 YEARS - and then saying: “Just because the Conservatives didn’t do X doesn’t mean Labour shouldn’t.”

This fragmentation into X, Bluesky, Mastodon, LinkedIn, TikTok, Threads, Discord is basically what happened when the first wave of 90s rave suddenly split off into jungle, happy hardcore, garage, gabba and dnb. We've been here before people!

My signal is probably going to go sometime soon as millions of drunken people text each other so I’ll say this now - throughout what has regularly been a grim, awful year, you people - you small band of friends - you’ve really made it far worse and I genuinely wish I didn’t know any of you.

I’m sure we all have thoughts on this but can I please just draw your attention to the £150,000 worth of stolen handbags that the Metropolitan Police say look like this

this kind of obviously biased headline is so frustrating when MSM is fighting for credibility 1) New Year’s Honours list is nominated by public not by political leaders 2) Khan has won three elections so the average Londoner clearly doesn’t think he’s a failure

Front page article of one of our national newspapers features the leader of the “Opposition” complaining joke channel GB News gives too much attention to Nigel Farage. This is all kind of dismal.

People endlessly debate which are football’s greatest success stories. This was where #AFCB was this time in 2008 - second bottom of League 2. The other table is today - 6th I. The Premier League, very much an established top-flight club. Success stories don’t come much greater.

Anyone looking to spend any money they’ve received this Christmas, look no further than the Home Alone house. A snip at $5.25m. www.zillow.com/homedetails/...

This is a slightly strange thing to say consider he was hardly Cristiano Ronaldo previously but since the last time I watched him, Mr Tumble has let himself go.

My seven-year-old who said last year she knew Santa wasn’t real, suddenly believes in him again today. Funny that.
