My IG vid is now at 11.6 million views. A sobering lesson, if anyone needed it, that the algorithm does not promote quality- the virality is based almost entirely on the outrage of a few commenters upset their rude comments were responded to in kind.

The other interesting thing, if Social Media Marketing happens to interest you, is the way different platforms/algorithms treat exactly the same video/text. Same video here, bsky.app/profile/toms... 15 likes. FB? 50 views. YouTube? 6 views. Threads? several thousand views. IG? 7.5 million+ views.

I’ve gone viral on IG and Threads again. I knew I would. It’s so predictable. Short, boring repetitive clip showing some weird aspect or image of disability, no explanations. Step back. Watch them fall over themselves to expose the worst of human behaviour. (Plus, in fairness, some v nice people)
